Welcome to the Townsville Sportfishing Club

The Townsville Sportfishing Club was established over 30 years ago. It is one of Queensland's most progressive and financially secure Sportfishing Clubs. Members range from all age groups and enjoy a multitude of fishing styles.

The Townsville Sportfishing Club caters for a very wide and diverse group of anglers - from the beginner to the more experienced dedicated fisho, which includes both male and female and family groups to those that are strictly social fisho's to the very competitive angler. The Club is involved with a range of community based projects such as Junior angler education to fish restocking.

The Townsville Sportfishing Club is the organiser of the Annual Fishing and Outdoor Expo held in Townsville which promotes recreational fishing and outdoor activities. The club is also closely affiliated with the Australian National Sportfishing Association (ANSA) which encompasses many clubs Australia wide, giving members a huge network of expert anglers form all over Australia.

Members of the Townsville Sportfishing club have held or currently hold many State, National and World Fishing records. The club organises regular fishing and social trips around North Queensland and is highly regarded at many of the large competitions held thought the State. From the once a month fisho to the die-hard angler the Townsville Sportfishing Club has something to offer all anglers.
