Manager of Century Yuasa batteries in Townsville and work often takes him to both North and Western Queensland. Loves to chase Queenfish on light gear and high speed lures also enjoys chasing Grunter. |

22 Years as a member of the Club. Joy counts the pennies as the club Treasurer she also does the catering for our club activities such as Bivouac Junction and Christmas Party. Joy enjoys fishing for Barramundi, Jacks, and Grunter. I also like fishing with light line , Joy holds an ANSA Masters Certificate. |

Club member for 5 Years. Yet to catch that elusive first Barramundi (Always to busy baiting up the hook for his son - poor excuse if ever I heard one!) 5 members in the family 2 are mad keen fishers - His wife and 3 daughters leave the fishing to the boys. |

Cradoc another long standing club member with over 15 years of service he is an avid fly fisherman in both fresh and saltwater and have been tying and using successfully my own fly's for sometime now. He also enjoys lure and bait fishing for species such as Barramundi and Mangrove Jack. Recently retired from the ARMY "Bear" as he affectinatly know now spends most of his day annoying his wife at home. |

Arthur, one of the clubs longest standing members passed away eariler this year (2009) Arthur served the club for over 20 years as a Member of the Club and as a past President for 3 years and the organizer/promoter of Fishing & Outdoor Expo for 11 years. Arthur holds an ANSA Masters for Sportfishing and Barramundi tagging. His main fishing focus was targeting Barramundi from his 5 meter self designed custom side counsel Arhtur was also the producer and co host the North Queensland Fishing Show live Radio broadcast every Saturday at 8am to 10am on 4TTT 103.9FM Townsville. Arthur is sadly missed by the club. |

Mark has been a club member for some 10 years and his favourite style of fishing is bait fishing for Grunter and Fingermark and also loves Bluewater fishing for Mackerel.
Mark's regularly haunts Crocodile Creek with his partner Debbie.
Mark travels extensively across North and Far North Queensland in his job with Eastern Tree Service. Mark recently married fellow club member Debbie in 2009.

Debbie has been a club member for since 2004 and is a regular place getter in the Champion Female angler division. Debbie like her partner Mark enjoys bait fishing for Grunter.
Debbie is a born and bred Townsville girl and can be found working hard for Wanless Wastecorp as the Area Manager for Townsville. Debbie recently married fellow club member Mark in 2009

Bryan Voevodin has been a Club member for 4 years - My main fishing activities focus around the Bluewater scene, where I visit as often as I can, the many reefs in the Townsville region, I love chasing Spanish mackerel, I also love lure fishing for Barramundi in the estuaries. I am self employed in the building industry in Townsville with a family and kids. |

Tony has served the club both as Weighmaster and as Vice President. Currently employed as a maintenance manager with the Townsville Port Authority, he enjoys fishing the regional estuaries for Grunter, Mangrove Jack and the infamous Barramundi. Tony is married with one daughter, all the family enjoy fishing together occasionally. Tony has kept a fishing diary of his pursuits over the last 18 months a product that many of the Club members might share in the coming weeks. |

David has been a member of the club for over 4 years. Enjoying both inshore and estuary fishing he often combines the sport with camping trips with the family. Employed by Townsville City Council David is married with one son who is also a member of the Club. Loves all types of fishing especially the eating part. |

Brian has been a social member of the club for some 5 years and was previously a club members a decade ago. Brian now divides his time between a number of Townsville based ANSA QLD clubs as a committee member for ANSA Queensland.
Brian also devotes much of his spare time to the enhancement of recreational fishing as a long term Committee member of NQ Sunfish.
Brian enjoys all forms of fishing and enjoys fishing with his wife Cheryl and Grand Daughter Holly.

Cheryl like her husband devotes much of her spare time to recreational fishing having served for many years in various roles with NQ Sunfish.
Cheryl and Brian have recently "retired" to their very own creek Hut at Cleveland Palms and spends much of her time watching Brian TRYING to build his veranda.
Cheryl is an avid light line angler who now like's nothing more that seeing her Grand daughter catching a fish.

A member since 2008. Annette loves all facets of fishing but prefers creek fishing. Mostly fishes with fellow club member and husband Graham.

Graham Spilsbury - Club Member
Club member since 2008, a crane operator in Townsville. Graham mainly fishes for Pelagic species such as Spanish Mackeral and Tuna.

Mick has been a member since early 2008 and is an Admistraion Clerk in Townsville. Mick loves nothing better than bait fishing and often haunts places such as the Ross river and the Haughton River.

Greg Belford - Club Member
Greg has been in the club since 2008 but has been involved with ANSA for a long time. Gregs main fishing interest is luring the local creeks but often turns his hand to the Freshwater chasing Barramundi and tarpon.

Greg is a Radio Design Engineer with Telstra and is has been a member of the club since 2007. Greg is a keen lure and bait fisherman but has shown that he is a deft touch with the Spanish Mackeral.

Jeffery Wright - Club Member
Jeffery is a keen Sportfisherman holding membership in 2 townsville clubs sportfishing and flyfishing. He divides his time between his 2 fishing passions to enjoy pelagic fishing and also targeting Coral Trout on Fly gear. Jeffery recently made a capture of a Barramundi in Lake Tinaroo which is a pending record.

Matt is currently studying full time at JCU but finds time to target large Spanish Mackeral with his father Dave. A member since late 2007, Matt has bothered the club wiegh master on a regular basis with Spanish mackeral over the 10kilo mark. |

Tom is a man of leisure having fully retired some years ago, Tom enjoys most aspects of fishing but particually like estuary and offshore. |

Dave DeWitt the Mackeral wisperer joined the club in late 2007 and has completly changed the way club members target Spanish Mackeral, with his vast knowlage of trolling for pelagic species learnt fishing the Areas of the Southern African coast he has helped many club members to target and catch Spainsh Mackeral inexcess of 20 kilos. |

Holly another of our Junior members is a regular at the club scales weighing fish and is often outfishing the adults, Holly hold a Queensland record and loves any type of fishing. She says that her brother Kynan never catches more fish than her!!! |

Kynan is one of our Junior members, he loves catching more fish than his sister Holly.
Kynan has been member for his whole life and loves fishing with his Parents, Grandparents and his Sister.

Alecia is our super mum of the club with 2 active kids within the club and a newborn just starting out. Alecia love the social aspect of the club and can regually be found fishing with partner kids.

Don or as he is know affectinatly known as Wliber is a avid lure fisherman and often haunts the Hinchenbrook Channel chasing barramundi and Mangrove Jack. A member since 2007 he works as a Manager at a local sign making company.
